Nobody on my corp knew about your mistake until after the truce, or if they did, they certainly didn't tell me. I assumed nobody would be that badly misinformed. Adept wrote: meanwhile our corp remained passive while your corp gridded over us and when you all were ready when offensive and started podding us left and right--no matter though, your corp failed in properly assessing us, and taking y'all out was an easy affair. What the hell are you talking about? We had invaded several of your planets and were absolutely destroying you in head to head combat, then we went to bed, the server went down knocking all four of us offline (and we had all been running defensive scripts), and your teammate (not you) waltzed in and shot us in the back at 4am while we were offline. Yeah, you won. High fives all around. Good job shooting the enemy in the back while they were sleeping, and taking advantage of a server outage in a game you were losing badly. I don't care how many figs or whatever else you had, the logs were pretty clear that you were running from us, and you would have lost. And yes, as others have noted, disconnects happen. All of us are experienced players and were running the right scripts and should have relogged, but thanks to the 'hang' nature of the outage (not a straight up disconnect) and the length of time, those scripts failed. That's unfortunate. But I'll tell you what - I win games and lose games against good players all the time, and when I lose, I respect those guys who beat me head to head, and many of the ones I beat in long hard battles feel the same way. I don't respect what you did. It's a win, no doubt, but not because you were better in any way. Adept wrote: Actually, yes I am utterly incensed, or something? You want to kill everybody trying to join the game within their first x-minutes, yea, have at it. Just don't believe you are a top notch killer, because you are not. Youa re a peacock at best. ...Which it is notable that you cannot cap for crap. How many times have you been damaged by corbo now?
...You are funny though I will give you that; your never ending chatter over comms about basic game play, as if I don't know you can blow a port to take me out. Hurpa durpa. If you think I give a crap about taking corbo damage in the process of killing another player, when it doesn't pod my ship, you are even more of a noob than I thought, and you certainly need more instruction on "basic game play".

That is why you all remained silent until the issue was brought up about extending the truce to five days, whether as a joke or not. And sure none of you though something was odd that nobody was attempting to go after any of while gridding everywhere? Right. Shadow2 wrote: What the hell are you talking about? I don't care how many figs or whatever else you had, the logs were pretty clear that you were running from us, and you would have lost. Think you only caught one planet that was left behind (which had 26-million left on it), I think during a pdrop where the driver was killed. ...And exactly, as to my earlier point later on when we tried gridding and I think two were immediately SD back to back--and yet none of your corp thought, hey why aren't we getting attacked right now, we have gridded like 5,000 or more sectors without incident. BTW, your corp had two reds on, so give it up already... that is until each was quickly plucked off later that morning. Although our grid was limited, we were still able to cash well-enough and retained domination over the majority of game assets. So much so that even if your corp manned up on return after burning assets to invade y'all, we were still sitting pretty. No, the point was that if you were truly worth your salt you would be going for the skillful cap and not a macro kill.

I'm not even going to bother to respond to the rest of your revisionist history. Believe in whatever delusions make you feel good about yourself. I don't care. Adept wrote: No, the point was that if you were truly worth your salt you would be going for the skillful cap and not a macro kill. You sure talk big for a guy who gets killed easier than almost anyone I've ever played against. People might even take you seriously if you could actually play. Listen, if this game is too hard for you, wash the sand out of your vagina and go play Farmville, or something. I don't care. You won't be missed.

No, I meant good players. I just do that to you because it's fun and makes me laugh. Good players who can actually compete.

As if the learning curve isn't high enough for this game, you go and treat a returning player like this? Way to go on the welcome mat!

Well, the whole thread started with this: Adept wrote: So we were right, and your assertions was false. Sordidly, ya'll seem to be afflicted with blatant dishonesty.
I think this discussion has gone far enough, but this guy has been pretty obnoxious since I first started communicating with him. Maybe I should have turned the other cheek. Whatever. I'm done now.

Adept wrote: Then really it should just be called a 48-hour truce, it is nonsensical to call it a 3-day truce, because there simply is no logical basis for doing so. ...Or otherwise is should just be posted a truce until the 2 turns 3.
But again this is neither here nor there. The point was your corp argued that Ultimate TW had always done it that way--When v=3 truce has ended and clearly that statement is an untruth. 52 Hours, actually... assuming you started at 8pm... and I state that when I post a truce game on my server... There are only 4 hours on the first day, but we still have to count it as a day.

And that, Ladies and gentlemen, is why we cannot have anything nice. And one reason why I do not like truce games.
Shadow, you are offsides with your comment regarding female bodily parts I am sure you have never seen outside of a magazine. This conversation is over, done, and you can QQ in another forum.
