Just wondering if he was still "In the Tradewars Pipeline".... He talked a LOT of crap and was NOT on my list of "favorites", but if you were playing against him and the -{Outfit}- you made sure you were on your toes, thats for sure!.... to say the least.

On occasion, I see him on my gmail chat list. He's far away from TW, but I forget what he told me he was doing. Odd dude.

Last I heard he bought himself one of those fancy beach chairs and was drinking something blue with an umbrella in it along with Jimmy Buffett. I also hear he grew a beard, started wearing a toboggan, and wrote a song called "Toes".

He posted on twgs.org a couple of years ago, nothing more than "here I am" or something.

Unlike some in the community, I always found him extremely helpful and fun to play with or against. A very loyal corpie also. Got a bit excitable in certain circumstances and words would fly but shrug.

You're right, he had his good qualities. Heck, he built my website for me, for free. Wish I hadn't let the domain expire. Pretty much lost it all.

I know exactly why Res left the game. For the same reason many others have left the game. His opinions in the "Official" TW forum were were ridiculed, which lead to several heated threads and he was eventually banned from the forum. I talked to him extensively around that time, and he told me he was going to vote with his feet like many others did around that time. That's about the same time period that Stonewall, Soul, Grazzhoppa, and a few others left the game too. River Rat stuck around a bit longer before he decided he'd had enough and pulled the plug on Alien Base.
